How to manage your story notifications
Shape your inbox by choosing which updates reach you, through email, Telegram or Slack, and how often.

Setting your notification rhythm
Your account lives at /account/notifications, where you shape which notices arrive and how. For each kind of update—new messages, founder activity, listing changes and more—you choose your channel: Email, Telegram or Slack. Then you pick your cadence: Instant alerts as they happen, a Daily digest bundling everything together, a Weekly digest for the fuller picture, or Off to hear nothing at all.
Telegram and Slack notifications use your own bot or webhook. If you opt for chat channels, you can set optional quiet hours so alerts don't arrive when you're away from work.
The notices you'll always receive
A handful of updates cannot be switched off, as they matter to every founder here. These cover receipts and refunds, payment troubles, disputes, when a listing is held pending your profile, changes to your listing status, missing badges on your account, and security notices—such as a sign-in from a new device or a change to your email address.
Stepping out of a single notice type
Every notice email carries a one-click unsubscribe link at the foot. Click it, and you'll stop receiving that particular kind of notice through email, without visiting your settings at all.
Questions people ask
- Can I turn off all notifications?
- No. A small set of essential notices—receipts, refunds, payment issues, disputes, listing status changes, and security alerts—will always reach you. All others can be silenced or scheduled at /account/notifications.
- How do I receive alerts through Telegram or Slack?
- Set up your own bot or webhook, then choose Telegram or Slack as your channel at /account/notifications. You control which messages go where.
- What if I want to stop one kind of notice by email only?
- Click the one-click unsubscribe link in that notice email. You'll stop receiving that notice type by email alone; other channels or notices remain as you've set them.
