How reviews, comments and influence work on Startup Launched

Writing and replying to reviews
Founders on Startup Launched write reviews about each other's work. To post one, you must be signed in, have confirmed your email, and have a live listing of your own. You cannot review your own product, and each product can only be reviewed by you once. Your review needs at least 80 characters and goes live straight away.
If you own a listing or manage it as part of a team, you can post one public reply to any review. You are able to edit or delete that reply whenever you choose. The person who wrote the review is notified the first time your reply appears.
Product review chapters
Startup Launched gathers its Product reviews at /reviews ("Review chapters" in the footer once the first is written), newest chapter first. Each was commissioned by the startup, is labelled so and cannot be edited by it. Community reviews are told on each startup's own page.
The conversation below launches
Any signed-in visitor with a confirmed email can comment on a launch page and reply to other comments. You can also use the Report link to flag any listing, review, reply or comment that concerns you. When 3 different people report a review or comment, it is hidden pending our team's review. Reported listings are checked by us but never hidden automatically.
Following and sharing
Press Follow on a founder, company or product and their news reaches you through /account/notifications, where you choose how often. Companies post updates shown on their own listing and collected at /updates. Each launch has a share page with text ready for X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Reddit, Threads, WhatsApp and email, plus a link-copy button.
Building influence
Influence is earned by taking part: writing reviews and comments, receiving votes on your own launch, and returning to sign in regularly. It cannot be bought. Your influence level can give your votes more weight. See yours at /account/influence.

- Can I review my own product?
- No. You can only write reviews of other founders' products. You must be signed in, have confirmed your email and have a live listing of your own.
