When to bring your story back: relaunching your listing

How to relaunch your product in a future week whilst keeping the votes you've already earned.

Updated

Your startup's story doesn't end on launch day. If your product has grown—through an update, a new chapter, a milestone reached—you can bring it back to the community with a relaunch.

The mechanics of relaunching

From /account/listings, you can relaunch any listing in a later launch week. When that week begins, your listing moves into it, and every vote the community gave you before carries over. You start the new week with your story already told and believed.

What a relaunch costs

Relaunching costs less than your original launch. You pay what you paid before, minus 25 percent. If your listing was never paid for, the cost is the current launch price ($5). The page always shows you the exact amount before you commit to it.

Moments worth relaunching

The best chapters to revisit are the ones where something real has changed. A substantial product update, a new feature or service, a milestone your team has hit—these give you a true reason to return. When a competitor in your space launches, that can be a moment too.

Startup Launched may send you a note when these moments arrive, though you can turn those emails off with a single click whenever you choose. The decision to relaunch remains entirely yours.
