How do I add extra categories to my listing?

Every listing begins in a single main category, included at no cost. This is where your startup's chapter opens for those browsing that particular story.
If you want your work found by founders reading in other categories too, you can add extra ones. One fee of $5 covers up to 3 more categories beyond your main one.
When and where to buy them
You have two moments to add extra categories:
- During submission, on the plan step, when you first bring your startup to Startup Launched
- After launch, from /account/listings, in the Categories section, if your story needs to reach new readers
Once you've paid, simply choose which categories suit your listing. Your startup appears in each one immediately—no waiting, no review needed.
Reach more of your audience
Think of categories as the different chapters where your founder's story might resonate. A marketplace for designers, say, might belong in both Product and Community. By listing in multiple places, you open more pathways for the founders who should know about you.
