Before you pay: what VAT applies
Prices shown on our site are before VAT. The VAT that applies depends on where you are and whether you're a business.
UK customers pay UK VAT at 20%. If you're an EU business, you can enter a valid VAT number at checkout to claim reverse charge—no VAT added. EU consumers pay VAT at their country's rate. Customers outside the UK and EU pay no UK VAT.
The exact amount of VAT due, if any, appears on the payment page before you complete your transaction.
Registering your VAT number
Enter your VAT number at checkout, or add it later in /account/billing. We check it against the EU VIES service at that moment. If the service cannot confirm it straight away, VAT is charged to your account, and you'll be notified.
Finding and downloading your invoices
Invoices are issued by Zinn Digital® Ltd (UK) and sent to your email after payment clears. You can download all your invoices and credit notes as PDFs from /account/invoices at any time. Keep these records for your accounts and tax filings.
Questions people ask
- Do UK VAT numbers stop VAT being added?
- No. UK customers always pay 20% UK VAT. A valid VAT number is accepted and printed on the invoice for your records, but does not remove the VAT charge.
- What happens if my EU VAT number doesn't verify?
- If the VIES service cannot confirm your number at checkout, we charge VAT to your account and let you know. You can contact us to resolve it.
- Where do I find my invoices?
- All your invoices and credit notes are stored as PDFs in /account/invoices. They are also emailed to you after each payment.
