The Support Queen
The Support Queen: a chapter in Nia Lock's work on what customers meet
Nia Lock is a business consultant and developer, and The Support Queen is the story she has built around everything a customer sees and touches. From Madrid, she works remotely with online and physical businesses around the world. The practice covers SEO, Google Ads, custom website design and development, customer support systems, AI integrations, knowledge bases and crisis management. Custom apps, platforms and automation sit alongside them. Clients choose how the work unfolds. Some take the advice and act on it themselves; others hand it over and have it done for them. Her developer background means recommendations get built, and she looks to fix structure rather than offer advice on tone alone. Read on to see how she describes it.

The Support Queen is a consultancy run by Nia Lock, who works as both a business consultant and a developer.

In brief
- What is the scope of your work?
- Everything that faces customers: SEO, Google Ads, website design and development, bespoke apps, support systems, AI integrations, knowledge bases and crisis management.
- Is your role limited to giving advice, or do you also build?
- You get both. Nia is able to create the dashboards, workflows, help centres and integrations that she suggests.
- Is AI customer support something you can assist with?
- Yes. AI live chat and AI ticketing deal with routine questions, then pass tricky or sensitive cases on to a person.
- How does a consultation work?
- It is a talk about the areas where support is struggling and what a strong setup would look like, so you leave with practical ideas. Any implementation can be scoped jointly.
- Which types of business are your clients?
- Online and physical alike. They range from a small company overwhelmed by support, to a salon or gym wanting its own custom billing or customer-retention app, through to large, established names. My work spans PBN.LTD (a major hosting company) and SEO for Vivastreet. I live in Madrid and serve clients worldwide, working remotely.
