Page Builder Sandwich
The builder behind the builder: page building since 2015, rebuilt for blocks

Page Builder Sandwich began in 2015 as a front-end page builder. For version 6, the team at Zinn Digital® started again, making a builder that writes the same blocks WordPress itself uses and keeps every page fast. Neil Lock, developer of the Zinn Digital® products, is the founder linked to this listing.

Page Builder Sandwich is a WordPress page builder that keeps your pages as ordinary blocks.
The builder behind the builder: page building since 2015, rebuilt for blocks
Content is stored as regular WordPress blocks instead of shortcodes or a private format. WordPress, your theme and your SEO plugin can keep reading your pages, whatever you add later. Build in the usual block editor, or use Sandwich Studio, a full-screen visual editor with a layers panel, undo history, a command palette and keyboard shortcuts.
A page loads just the styles of the blocks it uses, from your own uploads folder, with neutral class names and no generator tags. One measured test page gained +0.5 kB and made 0 requests to other companies' servers. While you build, a free accessibility checker points out missing alternative text and weak colour contrast.
The free plugin offers 44 blocks and 20 website kits. Pro brings 68 more blocks, 8 more kits, a form builder, popups, A/B tests, a theme builder, a design system, a WooCommerce store builder and imports from Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, WPBakery and Figma. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other AI agents can build pages via its MCP server with 150 tools.
It has been a WordPress page builder since 2015, and version 6 is a new builder from the ground up. Zinn Digital® Ltd develops, sells and supports it, and Neil Lock builds it.

In brief
- Does Page Builder Sandwich cost anything?
- No, not to start. The free plugin has no time limit and comes with 44 blocks, 20 website kits, Sandwich Studio and the accessibility checker. Page Builder Sandwich Pro layers on 68 further blocks, forms, popups, A/B tests and a WooCommerce store builder, and its 14-day free trial needs no card.
- What happens to my content when I build with it, and how is it stored?
- Your work is kept as regular WordPress blocks rather than shortcodes or a private format. That means WordPress, your theme and your SEO plugin can all read it, and a page continues to display its content even when the plugin is turned off.
- Does it affect how fast my website loads?
- A page pulls in just the styles for the blocks it contains, served from your own site. On one measured test page the plugin added +0.5 kB and 0 requests to other companies' servers, while the phone Lighthouse score held at 100.
- Is it possible to bring over pages made in Elementor or Divi?
- Yes, using Pro. It turns pages from Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder and WPBakery into blocks, supplies a report listing anything worth checking, and leaves the original pages untouched.
- Which company is behind Page Builder Sandwich?
- Zinn Digital® Ltd develops, sells and supports it, and Neil Lock is the person who builds it.
