What happens if I remove my badge?

Your free listing moves back to "waiting for badge" and we notify you by email. Place the badge back on your site and it republishes automatically within our 7-day check cycle.

How do I make my badge link dofollow?

Your domain needs a Domain Rating of at least 20 on Ahrefs and must pass our spam checks. We assess this automatically and update your link status live.

Do paid launches need a badge?

No. Paid launches appear without needing a badge on your site, and the link from your listing page is dofollow by default.

How badges and followed links work

Every free listing needs a badge on your site. We check for it automatically and set your listing link as followed or not based on your domain strength.

Displaying your badge

You can place our badge on your website to represent your listing here. Visit your listing's badge page to choose from different designs – pick the shape, colour tone and size that suits your site – then copy the HTML snippet and paste it into your website's code. The badge links back to your listing page here.

Why free listings require a badge

For a free listing to be published, our crawler needs to find a link to your listing page somewhere on your website. Any of our badge designs will do. We check automatically every 7 days to make sure the badge is still there. If it disappears, your listing returns to "waiting for badge" status and we send you an email. Once you restore the badge, your listing republishes automatically.

How links become followed

Your badge link begins as nofollow. Our system then checks your site's Domain Rating through Ahrefs and runs spam verification. If your domain reaches at least 20 and passes our checks, the link becomes dofollow. Otherwise it remains nofollow.

Paid launches receive a dofollow link to your website displayed on your listing page. Free listings get a nofollow link.

Earned badges

When you win Launch of the Week, Launched or Verified status, those badges appear on your listing automatically. A Featured badge is bought with a paid Featured period; it is not won.
