Build with our API

Startup Launched offers a REST API at /api/v1 for developers who want to build their own integrations. The full OpenAPI 3.1 specification is available at /api/v1/openapi.json, describing every endpoint and parameter you'll need.

Head to /developers for complete documentation on getting started.

Connect your AI assistant

If you use Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client, you can connect it directly to Startup Launched through our remote MCP server at /mcp. Your assistant can then search launches and read listings without leaving the conversation. With your permission, it can also draft and manage your own listings—useful when you're developing a story or working through ideas in real time.

Signing in securely

You can authenticate in two ways. Use OAuth to sign in through this site (your assistant will open a sign-in page), or generate a personal API key from /account/developers. Keys are displayed only once; after that, only a hash is stored on our servers, so keep yours safe.

What you should know

Rate limits and daily quotas apply to all API use. Any payments you make happen here on Startup Launched itself—the API will return a checkout link when needed. Note that voting on launches isn't available through the API.
